My very own nickname

I have never had a nickname before. This is surprising as my stupid name was the number one girl's name for about the last 10 years. My parent's swear they had no idea it would be popular. When I was younger and I was sitting in class with about three other Emilys, my nickname became Emilyessss. All in one breath. I hated that. But now, mercifully, I am the only Emily around. Karli swears she has never met another Emily (I'm not sure I believe it). And yet, at this stage in my life, I have not one but two nicknames. To Kris (whose own nicknames include Darwin and Krisco), I am EmEm. And to Chris (ChaCha. Yes, we are having double name problems on our floor) I am Amelie, which I like because it sounds frenchy and that is an excellent movie.
