"Swimming with the enzymes, B!"
A wonderful Sunday to get me ready for a killer week. 3 papers and a midterm this week. Yeah, we'll see how that goes.
Sunday the weather was gorgeous. Upper 50s, sunny. Barely needed a jacket. After Tori and I slept in, I sat around being lazy in my room for awhile, reading before I ventured out for a walk by the river around 3:00. I stepped over little trickles of melted snow, the river was sparkly and everything smelled earthy and nice. I ran into David wearing shorts and we walked a ways.
Chris, Lindsey, Tori and I got on the bus and had dinner at the Green Mill. We had delicious pizza, and Chris (of course) had a calzone. Lindsey named it Cynthia.
I wish I could tell a decent story.
Anyway, so we heard back from Melanie. She's in on the whole house plan. I really hope it works out, because it's so pretty and one year of Middlebrook was enough. That has definitely put us in a good mood. Of course, I wish Lindsey were living with us. I wish she and Karli were speaking to each other. I wish I had the guts or the resources or the genius to fix it.
My surgery is on Friday. Stupid Aaron and Tori are leaving messages for each other saying "4 more days" until they get to go to London. Damn them. As Karli says "Emily's going to the hospital for spring break and I'm going to Farmington, Minnesota." They had better take lots of pictures and bring me presents. I'm taking a stupid antibiotic because my incision from the biopsy is all red and angry. But if anything it's getting worse. My arm hasn't hurt too badly. Just kind of generally sore. It only kills at really strange times, like when I'm taking the cap off a pen or randomly when I'm trying to take a nap. Which I'm going to try to do now.
