You haven't lived until you've heard a Korean boy say "Spaghetti" 7 times rapid fire

Yesterday an amazing thing happened: I got so much accomplished before noon. And on a Saturday. Friday night we (Mom, Gramma D, Auntie Nancy, Auntie Sue, Auntie Jill, T.J and Joey) went to watch Colin play Rapunzel's prince in "Into the Woods" at Breck. It was AWESOME. Good acting, good music and a good French accent by Colin. Hehe.

Saturday morning I woke up at 9 at home, came back to Middlebrook and got Tori up before Karli and Paul arrived to go...house hunting! Karli had made a list of all the properties being rented by her brother's landlord. They were a bunch of houses in Dinkytown that were having open houses, so we went to look at them! The first one we looked at we affectionately named "the shack." You'll see why if you look at the picture entitled "Don't worry be happy:" (http://www.dinkytownrentals.com/avail.html)
That one was cute, the owners gave us few complaints about it. We moved on. We looked at more houses with cheesy names before we went to the last one. This house had many charms, some superficial (they had a puppy and they were the first owners to actually be nice to us and give us a decent tour) and some more substantial (so pretty!) We visited the rental office to ask some questions and decided to seriously consider it once we spoke to Melanie (who's in Spain and couldn't join us on our quest). Again, I wish I could post pictures here.

Then Tori and I made up for our early start by taking a nap. We got up for dinner with Lindsey, Jin, Brad and Neil, which was a blast. Especially listening to Jin talk about his love affair with spaghetti. Tori and I met up with Roman (who was abandoned by Mike and Brady this weekend, poor thing) and we watched Friday Night Lights at Coffman. While I can't say I'm a huge fan of football movies, I liked this one because they didn't win. We came back to Middlebrook for some ice cream, then trekked back to Coffman to watch 7 days, UofM's a capella group. 'Twas awesome.
