I'm free!

I'm fairly certain I'm not allowed to speak to Karli again until I update this, so here goes...

Firstly, I'M TYPING WITH TWO HANDS!!! The long awaited day was last Wednesday when I was at last released from the shackles of my immobilizer. I'm free! My range of motion isn't great, though. I can bend at the elbow and lift things to about chest height. I can touch my nose with my right hand. But I can't lift anything over my head, and even holding my arms up to type and move the mouse is a little sore. BUT I'm doing it because I can.

Secondly, I'm finally back to the dorms. I'm sure Tori was getting used to having the room to herself, but I'm also sure she missed me. It's probably good that I'm back, too because I have a whole mess of stuff to do. Papers and meetings and all. Should keep me busy.

The weather is super humid. It's warm and it's stayed that way, so I'm not complaining. But it's just really sticky and overcast today. Not good standing around in the library weather. I had to spend most of my energy not listening to the presentation but willing myself not to faint or throw up.

Four more weeks of school. Crazy amount of stuff to do in those four weeks, but I imagine that will make it go quickly. The angels delivered me a beautiful finals schedule: I will be done on May 6th at 11:00. LA! The next week is Andrew's confirmation and my mom and I are venturing to New York to see my cousin Erin graduate. It should be a blast.

The air has been abuzz with talk about the house, also. Stuff to fill it with is pouring in from every which way. I'm not even sure we have much to buy anymore, which is nice. Especially since I don't have a job for the summer yet. The learningworks thing didn't work out, so it's on to non-existent plan B. It doesn't help that I'm both picky and expecting the perfect job to fall into my lap (hey, it worked twice!)
