I do this for you, you know
Okay, so my dad says quit being lazy and update your blog. I really have been meaning to keep you posted on the facinating goings on in my life. So I'll try my best to give you a little morsel everyday.
I've decided I love all my classes. (Well, except for Spanish. But I'm not in the mood to do a Spanish rant at the moment, so we'll just move on).
Today I had two classes: Brit Lit lecture and Art History. We finished Beowulf in Brit Lit and we're moving on to The Canterbury Tales, which I read two years ago in Humanities, but you know what I always say: you can never get too much of the antics of the Pardoner, the Miller and the Wife of Bath. Oh, man. Great lecture today, though. Professor Watkins just knows everything. We talked about the Black Death today, and I found I am actually still retaining things from AP Euro. And for your blog reading pleasure, a quote from Professor Watkins, which I like to write in the margins during lecture:
"Many of you in this room would probably like to write the great American novel. My job, as an English professor, is to stop you."
My art history professor is equally cool. I love the way he can be standing in front of the class talking about the pretty art, and simultaneously give off the impression that he could kick your ass at any moment. Here's some nice Professor Weinberg quotes for you:
"Hey, is anybody falling asleep in front of this painting? I hope not. I'll find you."
"If I had my way, I'd have you all in the Louvre. I'd ask the president of the university to provide jet funds. And he wouldn't do it because it has nothing to do with football."
Later: Maybe you'll get to hear that Spanish rant, plus "I love my creative writing TA" and "Gilmore Girls season premiere is disappointing"

Yay! Fresh Emily! Thanks.
Yes! Yay! The bouquet of pencils had wilted. It's nice when you're nice, but it's more fun when you rant.
