Study Abroad
Day 14
January 31st, 2006 (Happy 20th birthday, Danielle!)
10:38 PM

Back to school again. Monday and Tuesdays are my busiest days—4 classes each. I’m enjoying them, though. My professors are good and I think I picked out some interesting things to study. We still haven’t gotten entirely into the swing of things—we’ll see how I feel next week when I have to write three papers.

The food has been pretty good the past couple days (I won’t say stellar, but definitely tasty), which always has the ability to put me in a good mood. Tonight, though, since it is Danielle’s birthday we took her out to dinner. Being lame Americans who still aren’t used to the Spanish eating schedule, we were shooed out of the restaurant at quarter to 9 and told to come back at 9. But it was delicious. We all had lasagna, but all different kinds. Danielle had the cheesiest cheese lasagna on the planet, I had meat lasagna with goat cheese and Robin and Amy had vegetable. It definitely hit the spot, and after we were done and went to Plaza Zocodover for some dessert, we felt fuller than we have since we’ve been here.

Cheesiest of cheesy sounds good. It reminds me of the plate of cheeeeeeese garnished garlic mashed potatoes I savored last night.
