Some quick highlights & lowlights from the last week:

Highlights:

-Going out for the first time in Toledo. "Foreign Students Night" on Thursday at Rivendell. Never have all the Fund kids been pushed into such a tiny space. Distillery on Saturday was fun, too.
-"Telepizza Night" last Wednesday with Danielle
-Playing way too many rounds of my new obsession: "The Wikipedia Game." If you are a nerd like me, you will see why this is a highlight. All you do is call up two random articles on Wikipedia, then see how many steps it takes to get from one to the other. My record is 4 (I got from rapper Nelly's clothing line "Apple Bottoms" to the CF-18 Hornet, a plane in the Canadian air force)
-Meeting Kara's Spanish friends (I could not make this up)--Dani and Marie.
-The excellent special features on the "Rent" DVD. I'm sounding more nerdy as we go.
-Discovering thedragonflyinn.com! Yes, Jenna, go here! New episode will be up Wednesday night, I think.
-Cute girls (between 5 and 8 years old, I think) who were playing in the courtyard outside the cafeteria last night. They practiced their very good English on us and tried to climb in the window. I said, "The moral of the story is send your tiny children to learn another language." Robin said, "Yeah, that and don't feed the seagulls."

Lowlights:

-Heartbreaking news on the Gilmore Girls front.

-A PIGEON POOPED ON MY HEAD! I was walking back from Rivendell with Robin and we were going to get a sandwich in Boveda and some lame pigeon just really had to go and I had to stick my head under the sink. Gah.
-Finals. 2 down, 4 to go.
-Lots of lasts: last Japanese class, last day at Escuela de Idiomas
-Enduring one more week of Fundacion food.
-The girls that smoke right outside my window (as we speak).
-Getting caught in the rain waiting for the bus after our museum visit for art history.
-Girls in my review group for my lit class that hadn't read anything all semester.
-What a mess my room is--I'm going to have to pack it all up on Friday.
