Six stupid things I did this week

1. I told a story to a couple of my Mock Trial students about a certain stubborn ALC student. Without realizing it, I accidentally said his name, and the ALC kid asked me about it the next day. Oops.
2. Last week I mentioned to Matt that I have not been sick so far this winter. At about 2pm on Friday, I felt a cold coming on and I spent the weekend sick.
3. I bought a fondue pot a couple of weeks ago and was hoping to make some on Saturday, but I hadn't opened the box. I had all the ingredients set up, I opened the box, and realized that it was missing the power cord. And Target was all out of them because it was on sale this week. (We went to Buffalo Wild Wings and dominated at trivia instead, so no harm done).
4. I let all my dishes from the entire week pile up so they are stacked up all the way down my countertops. I will have to will myself to do them before bed tonight. It will take me an hour.
5. I miscalculated the Mock Trial team's record and told them we would be advancing to Round 6. I found out two things on Friday--we are NOT advancing to Round 4 and apparently I can't do simple addition. D'oh.
